This little memory inspired me
when I wrote my first picture book.
The memory is about
one of those moments when my daughter was a little girl.
The image originally is a colorful image... as you can see on the thumbnail. For
the posting I wanted to give my image that old story book look and worked on the image till I got that look. I hope you'll enjoy!
There were times when my daughter wanted to cook together with me. That cocking
thing has its own ritual. First we choose a book that my daughter thought that in it there is something that is suits her mood for a meal. Then we sat down, and perused
together through the book. From time to time we lingered over a given recipe. Of course that
recipe had a very attractive colored picture also. Looking at the picture my daughter would tell me what she thinks... what is the taste of that given dish... and would tell me how she would be happy if that dish would be ready already so she could it it. Usually after she finished looking a given picture we went to the next page because she hoped that on the next page she could find something more attractive than what we just already saw. We used to spent hours just reading the books. And of course finally when I asked her... what would you like me to prepare for you -- the answer was: Mom I am not hungry right now...
