A sunny afternoon

This little memory inspired me
when I wrote my first picture book.
The memory is about
one of those moments when my daughter was a little girl.
The image originally is a colorful image... as you can see on the thumbnail. For
the posting I wanted to give my image that old story book look and worked on the image till I got that look. I hope you'll enjoy!
I already told some little stories about those times when I looked for my daughter advices. Most of the time my daughter would listen what I have had to say, think a little and come up with a nice answer -- and told me in her candid way. But there were times, when she wasn't sure whether I would like to hear her answer... or not. In these
occasions, after hearing my question, she would remain silent... looking at me from the corner of her eyes... waiting... and waiting... I knew she wanted me to reassure her that I wouldn't get angry about what she had to say... In order to let her re-assure I wasn't hurry her to tell me what she wanted to tell me... I would wait silently... giving her a very small encouraging smile... till she would tell me what she wanted to tell me at the first place.
