Getting Attention

There were times when I used to work at home. When my daughter came back from the kindergarten I used to spent with her as much time as I could. We used to play or talk about things that she wanted to share with me. But sometimes I just had a very tight deadline and I couldn't spend with her the amount of time she wanted. On those occasions I haven't closed myself up into my room... but moved to the living room. By me being in the living room although she knew where to find me she wasn't at the center of my attention. When she thought it is time for me to play with her she used to clime up on one of the furniture of the living room and used to make me funny faces till I couldn't continue my work... because I was laughing so much. When she saw that I stopped working more than five minutes she jumped down from the furniture... run to me.. and climbed up to my lap and said to me: Isn't it true that it is time to play with me?

One more thing: I choose to describe my daughter as a dragon because I could pose it in a way that it looks very cute but at the same time so helpless while trying to say: what more can I do in order to get your attention?

Here are some comments I got for this image:

Awwe little dragon is so cute sitting there and trying his best to get her attention!!

your story is a delight to read and I love your style of image - wonderful :o)

I all the rich colors and detail...and that dragon is cute all stretched out like that...he looks like he wants a big hug.

Lucky your daughter does that...my son gets into everything to get my attention...would rather he made the faces
