On her way

Inanna continued on her way and she arrived to the 3rd stair. At the top of the stair there was a guard who demanded Inanna to hand over one of her garment, exactly as the two guards before him.

Inanna had learned already that won't help her if she protest, so she handed over another garment of her.

After handing over her garment she started to hurry in order to reach her sister as soon as possible and demand a good explanation for all those humiliation that she had to have gone through.

While Inanna continued on her way, Ereshkigal got very angry at her advisers.

"Why can't you come up with a good idea, that can stop Inanna continue in her way" Ereshkigal shouted to one of her advisers.

"Ereshkigal, please don't get angry at me, it seems to me that Inanna wants to see you so much that nothing can prevent her coming to here" The adviser said.
