Before Going

One day Inanna decided to visit her sister who was the Quinn of the Underworld. She told about her plans to her FirstServant.

By hearing Inanna's plan FirstServant become very sad. As far as she knew, whoever entered to the Underworld, never came back. For some minutes FirstServant listened politely to Inanna -- who wanted to convinced her not to worry.

Inanna thought, that because her sister has the power to release people who want to get out from the Underworld, she would do that for Inanna also. FirstServant thought otherwise.

First, she wasn't convinced whether Ereshkigal, Inanna's sister would like to have a visit from Inanna. Second, she wasn't convince either that if Ereshkigal wanted her sister to visit her -- she would be kind enough to help her to get out from the Underworld. FirstServant told all that to Inanna. But Inanna remained adamant.

She wanted so much to see how her sister lives nowadays in a place that very few people know what it looks like. She also longed for a good girl-to-girl talk... that she remembered they used to have when they were little --- though she wasn't sure if Ereshkigal would like to have all those innocent silly talks now, that she has so much other serious things on her mind.
